<p>New Home Sales September 2021 report was released this morning. What does a surge in new-home sales mean for homebuilders? Zillow's economist, Jeff Tucker, says that buyers are finding slightly more selection, more price cuts, and a bit more time to evaluate a home before it goes under contract. "Builders have benefited this year from strong demand amid a shortage of previously occupied homes for sale. At the same time, rising costs and shortages of building materials and labor have rippled through the construction industry," says Roger Healy, owner and CEO of The Rogers Healy Companies. </p><p><br></p>
