Police kill two kidnappers, rescue 10 victims in Bauchi

<p>The Bauchi State Police Command says it has killed two suspected kidnappers and rescued 10 victims during an operation carried out in Ningi Local Government Area.</p>, <p>Commissioner of Police Auwal Musa Muhammad disclosed this at a press briefing held at the police headquarters along Yandoka Road on Tuesday.</p>, <p>DAILY POST recalls that there have been incessant kidnappings in Ningi LGA, targeted at peasant farmers who are now afraid of going to their farms.</p>, <p>The CP said the rescue operations were carried out in collaboration with hunters</p>, <p>“In one of the successful operations carried out between July 17 and 20, the operatives rescued 10 victims of kidnapping unhurt and reunited them with their families.</p>, <p>“Similarly, the operatives attacked the hoodlums and neutralised two of the armed kidnappers and arrested one other, while the remaining terrorists were subdued during a gun duel with our team,” he stated.</p>
