<p>The episode you are about to hear is from the SG shor t series called ʻŌlelo O Ka Mahina (Word of the Month). These short series episodes will be aired on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month within the semester. ʻŌlelo O Ka Mahina was started by the student services counselors that identify themselves as Native Hawaiian for faculty and staff, but now we want to share it across the whole student body. Sit back and enjoy listening to the first episode of ʻŌlelo O Ka Mahina.</p> <p>Before we start this program, I just want to announce that the 2022-2023 Free Application For Student Aid &nbsp;FAFSA is open to apply. So Students I encourage you to fill it out, even though you may think you are not eligible for federal grants, the Scholarship season has started for the new school year and some scholarships such as the UH Common Scholarship (which by the way is open) requires a completed FAFSA. Don’t hesitate to find financial resources that are able to assist in your education journey.</p> <p>Now onto the program,</p> <p>In this episode, Student Government hosted a talk story with Chancellor Carlos Penaloza on Sept 2 , 2021 &nbsp;as a way to find out the updates that are happening on campus and possibly system wide. Please note that the updates on this episode were shared a while back and so there is always a subject to change in the upcoming days, weeks, and months.
