Description

TODAY we will remain under the influence of an upper-level ridge with unseasonably warm near record high temperatures in the low to mid-90’s. Tomorrow a trough and low-pressure start working out of 4-Corners toward the Palmer divide some morning clouds and breezy south-southeast winds can be expected with only a bit cooler temp in the upper 80’s. Wednesday an advancing trough from the northwest US will begin tracking over the Rockies and through the Tri-state area Thursday and lifting northeast on Friday. This will bring cooler seasonal temperatures and chances for showers and storms. The low does not appear to cut-off from the main Jet as advertised late last week by computer models, thus precipitation would be more of the scattered variety than wider spread.
