Much Cooler Today w/Some Rain Chances; NiceTomorrow Then Hot & Dry Thu-Sun; Next Rain Chance Mon/Tue

<p>TODAY we will be much cooler as a second cool front and upper-level trough move through.  Highs in the upper 70’s and lows in the lower 50’s will be more seasonal for this time of the year.  As the main energy rolls off this Rockies this afternoon and evening showers and storms are expected with some isolated severe weather with large hail and wind gusts over 60 mph are possible.  Wednesday will be dry with high-pressure sliding in behind the exiting trough with slightly above normal temperatures in the 80-85-degree range.  Then Thursday and Friday an amplified ridge returns over the Rockies resulting in dry west and southwest winds pushing temperatures back into the 90’s and over the weekend the trend for hot and dry weather continues as the upper-level ridge sits directly over the Tri-state region. </p>
