Martinez reveals player to win several Ballon d’Or awards after Messi, Ronaldo retire

<p>Argentina goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez, has tipped Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe to win several Ballon d’Or awards after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo retired from the game.</p>, <p>Messi, 36, has won the Ballon d’Or eight times, while Ronaldo, 38, has won five.</p>, <p>The pair have dominated the title of the world’s best player for the past 15 years.</p>, <p>Speaking about the Ballon d’Or, Martinez also insisted that he has a lot of respect for Mbappe.</p>, <p>“I have a lot of respect for him… when Leo and Cristiano retire he will keep the way and will win a lot of Ballon d’Ors,” the Aston Villa goalkeeper said (quoted via All About Argentina).</p>, <p>Mbappe recently finished in third position in the 2023 Ballon d’Or ranking behind Erling Haaland and Messi.</p>
