Killaloe Coast Guard Unit Reminds Public Of Their On-Land Emergency Services

The Killaloe Coast Guard Unit is reminding the public that their services can be used in on-land emergencies. The East Clare Unit, based out of Pier Head, is the first Inland Coast Guard Unit in Ireland and is able to use tools such as an underwater camera and an extensive drone search team. Although they are water unit, the team is also available to help in on-land search and rescue operations within East Clare and North Tipperary. Killaloe Coast Guard Unit volunteer, Damian Madden explains the scope of their operations.
