When the business sold in 2018, the company had over seven-hundred employees staffed in corporate fitness centers in twenty-five states. As an author, Brenda has published a book called "You Can Play" the book is based on women's point of views on sports and what sports has taught them to become a better person or a better business owner. As a speaker, Brenda has been a guest presenter at a variety of regional and national conferences. Her topics are typically focused on health and fitness practices, worksite wellness agendas, women’s health issues, healthy cultures advancement, coaching and leadership skills development, as well as healthy lifestyle transformation. Brenda has been actively involved with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), an organization that supports more than 15,000 women businessowners.
