I Want to Pray But What Do I Say_7

<p>Friday 7 May 2021</p> <p><br></p> <p>I want to pray but what do I say? 7</p> <p><br></p> <p>This is a question a lot of us have asked in one way or the other. Everybody wants to have a rich relationship with God but how do we build this relationship; how do we talk to this God, what do we say when it’s time to pray.</p> <p><br></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>Luke 11: 3 (NLT)</p> <p><br></p> <p>3 Give us each day the food we need</p> <p><br></p> <p>&nbsp;Jesus told them to pray saying; “…give us each day the food we need.” Why is Jesus telling them to pray like this and what does this mean? Remember the first thing He taught them was to pray to the loving Father. Every responsible and loving father is concerned about the well-being and the welfare of his children and this was what Jesus was teaching them here was that Father’s commitment to providing their needs.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Jeremiah 29: 11</p> <p><br></p> <p>"'For I Know the Plans I Have for You' Declares the Lord, 'Plans to Prosper You and Not to Harm You, Plans to Give You Hope and a Future. '"</p> <p><br></p> <p>God thinks about you and your welfare every single day, He is concerned about your daily sustenance so ask Him. Now the word “food or bread” used here is not limited to food alone. It means everything you need for life and godliness; it means everything you need to sustain yourself to live a balanced and well-adjusted life every single day.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Don’t be afraid to ask your Father for what you need. Jesus said “…if you being evil know how to give gifts to your children, how much your Heavenly Father.” God wants you to be able to ask Him for the things you need daily; if it is wisdom, strength, patience, courage or food; whatever you need He said ask that your joy be renewed.</p> <p><br></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>Understand that your Father is interested in everything that is important for your daily welfare especially as it is in line with His will. Ask Him, the thing you need to make it through every day.</p> <p><br></p
