How to live GODLY when the rest of the world is going to Hell in a Handbasket? 🤦🏾‍♀️

What does this phrase means? It means, this Christ-rejecting, God-denying, unsaved world is headed towards its doom. Its superficial values are deteriorating quickly, proceeding on a course to disaster and complete ETERNAL ruin! Its godless failure is inevitable: "but unless you repent, you too shall likewise perish," Jesus says in Luke 13:3-5. Looking around the world today, it is going downhill quickly! The preaching of the Gospel must be heralded throughout the world, calling men to repentance! The answer to today's question is obvious: sticking close to Jesus, is how we can live godly in a world that is breaking its neck to be thrown into the Lake of Fire! We remain abiding in Him! Romans 1:24-32 tells us all about the moral turpitude of humanity who rejects Jesus and denies God's existence! They have no moral compass, anything goes! They are filled with every kind of wickedness, baseness, murder, lust, carnality, corruption, depravity, sinfulness, vileness... you name it! For although they know God's justice requires punishment for sin (see Romans 1:32), they continue in their dissipation anyway! Thumbing their collective noses at holy God because they want their darkness more, rather than the Light, Jesus Christ! But not so us beloved! We've come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, through repentance to have our sins forgiven! We know the penalty and consequence for sin: ETERNAL DESTRUCTION FROM THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD AND FROM THE POWER OF HIS GLORY! The Lake of Fire, which is the second death (Revelation 20:15), awaits those who are unrepentant and refuses to come to Christ for salvation. Even though the ungodly is in the clutches of the evil one,
