Fourth Sunday After Pentecost, June 25, 2023, 9:00 A.M. Sunday Worship Service

<p>Hello and welcome! Thank you for joining with us in our worship service today, here at Stony Creek United Methodist Church. First things first, beginning next Sunday, July 2, 2023, we will be moving our worship time to 10:45 A.M. going forward. We hope you are still able to join us at this new time. We pray that you will always know that you are a blessing to this world, a sibling in Christ Jesus, and a beloved child of God. God loves you unconditionally, and there is nothing you can ever do to separate yourself from that love, or from God&#39;s perfect grace. We also hold you in prayer for all of your joys and concerns in this life, no matter what they may be. Please know and believe that you are made in the image of God, and therefore are always and forever worthy of being, mercy, grace, and love. You are beautiful just the way you are, and you are always welcome in our faith community, whether in-person, over the Internet, or in whatever way you are most comfortable. We believe in drawing the circle wider, building a bigger table, and extending our love to all our neighbors. This morning we are continuing into the third week of our summer sermon series, &quot;Family Reunion,&quot; as we read through some of the stories of the Old Testament about some of the early families of Israel. Today&#39;s message is titled, &quot;A Painful Shortcut.&quot;</p>
