Examining The Bonfire of the Vanities with Ben Mankiewicz and Julie Salamon

"The Bonfire of the Vanities" went from one best-selling novels of the 1980s, but the film based on the Tom Wolfe ("The Right Stuff") book would go down as an all-time worst. This edition of the podcast looks at why it failed so historically, despite an A-list cast (Tom Hanks, Bruce Willis and Melanie Griffith) or perhaps that's a major factor for the film's demise.
