Episode 135: Announcing my new book, The Farewell Tour

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Caregivers. Literally the word reflects how they “give”-but what about what they need to take? If you’ve ever been in a caregiving role, you know the self-care struggle is real. </span>  </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">After months of waiting to share this with you, I am thrilled to announce my upcoming book, The Farewell Tour: A Caregiver’s Guide to Stress Management, Sane Nutrition, and Better Sleep (Viva Editions, October 2022). </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Inspired by my family’s experience caring for my father after his diagnosis of advanced pancreatic cancer (an experience which he, a music industry veteran, called his “farewell tour”), I have created a book intended to providing a healthier life for caregivers—Those who serve and assist ailing loved ones, the elderly, special needs children, and others who require ongoing care.  </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In this episode I hint at some of the self-care tips and tricks you’ll find in the book as well as info about the other wellness experts, music artists, and industry professionals who shared their insight for this book.
