She is an associate member of the McGovern Institute for Brain Research and a board member of the Center for Open Science. She is known for her research on the neural basis of social cognition. Has her own lab: SaxeLab, and a long list of awards, and recognitions, the last one I read, is that she was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Science for 2022. She has a TED talk watched over 3.5 million times.
