Description

Today the closed upper-level low that brought beneficial rainfall to much of the region will slowly move off to the Kansas City and eastward out of the Central U.S with temps rebounding but still cool with highs in the mid- 60’s and lows in the upper 30’s to around 40. Tomorrow and Friday high-pressure, and ridging will warm temps in the 80’s with dry and breezy south winds. Saturday and Sunday the ridge begins to shift east of the area and flow becomes more southwesterly in between a low and trough developing out west. Saturday’s high temps will likely climb into the 90’s to start the Memorial Day weekend. Sunday and Memorial Day a surface low and frontal boundary will be over the region and along the KS/NE border bringing chances for some late day evening isolated storm activity and drop temps into the middle 80’s.
