ADOH RADIO PRESENTS EPISODE 116: “UNDER A BRIDGE” FEAT. BLOSSOM ROGERS

<p><strong>LIVE – WED., JUNE 14, 2023.</strong> This episode will feature inspirational music, positive inspirations, and <strong>THE AMAZING BLOSSOM ROGERS</strong>. Born Blossom Lafayette Butler in New Smyrna Beach, FL on January 15, 1966, to a teenage mom, and raised by her loving great-grandmother who believed in some unique home remedies that later developed detrimental habits for Blossom. Later Blossom’s mom married and told her that it was time for her to come home. It was a bittersweet moment, because it was always just her and her great-grandmother and now, she was to live with others and would have to share. Living with her mom, stepfather, and siblings, Blossom was often confused, angry, but happy to have playmates. However, Blossom went through horrible times dealing with molestation and inappropriate behavior at the hands of her stepfather. She recalls saying to her stepfather as he touched her, “I’m gonna tell my mama” while he laughed and said “no one will believe you”. That statement stuck with Blossom and shut her mouth for years to come. With a childhood pregnancy at sixteen by a boyfriend who abandoned her, and a failed marriage, Blossom looked elsewhere for the love she yearned. After a new now abusive relationship to a crack addict, Blossum decided if I can’t beat him, I will join him. By age 23, she was the mother of three sons. This began a long life of jail, prison, homosexual habits, rehabs, mental institutions, theft, homelessness. Because of this lifestyle, Blossom began living under a bridge in the back seat of her car. She is here to tell her story, her way!
