414 - The 4 Phases of Pandemic Life

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Today, I want to spend some time reflecting on the COVID -19 pandemic and share some thoughts that a member of this community shared with me. In many ways, getting through the pandemic of the last year and a half is mirrored in the</span> <a href= "https://organize365.com/podcast/cycles-seasons-organize-365-story-part2"> <span style="font-weight: 400;">four life phases</span></a> <span style="font-weight: 400;">I teach you about in</span> <a href="https://organize365.com/product/mindsetbook"><span style= "font-weight: 400;">The Mindset of Organization</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Although we each had unique experiences over the last 18 months, we all experienced the pandemic together, and looking at how these phases of life are applicable to life events can help us to figure out how to get organized when we face unexpected events.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The four phases of life each require different organizational needs. This means, you may be organized in one phase, but struggle in another. There are different kinds of organization you’ll learn throughout your life, and</span> <em><span style="font-weight: 400;">organization is a learnable skill</span></em> <span style="font-weight: 400;">- you can figure out how to be organized in any phase or unexpected event in your life. </span></p> <p><strong>Childhood</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">- birth to 21</span></p> <p><a href="http://organize365.com/kids"><span style= "font-weight: 400;">Children</span></a> <span style= "font-weight: 400;">learn organizational skills on a micro level during childhood. Everything is in one location, they are generally responsible for only a small area like a</span> <a href= "https://organize365.com/podcast/kids-organizing-planning"><span style="font-weight: 400;"> mini-apartment</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, and there is a weekly rhythm that helps instill the skills of getting and maintaining
