31. 10x-ing My Salary over 10 years ($30K to $340k)

<p>In my first job ever post college, I was paid $30K. After 10 years in industry, I was able to more than 10 fold my corporate salary, to an ending compensation of $340K. From $30K, to $53K, to $90K, and onwards.... I talk through all the different odds and ends I've done to get to this point, and the lessons and mindset it took to make those shifts.&nbsp;</p> <p>I share this openly because I know that if it's possible for me, it's also possible for you. This level of abundance is available to you, and it starts with adjusting your mindset.&nbsp;</p> <p>Here's my salary trajectory:</p> <ul> <li>2006: $6.25/hour</li> <li>2006-2010: $10-$12/hour</li> <li>2010: $30k, this was my first ever "real job" post graduating college&nbsp;</li> <li>2011: total comp ~$53k, inside sales job with commission.&nbsp;</li> <li>2012: total comp $90k ($40/hour, with overtime)</li> <li>2013: total comp starting $158k, ending at $178k ($120K to $130K base, with a 32% bonus)</li> <li>2016: total comp $161k ($140k base with a 15% bonus)</li> <li>2016-2020: $150k to $167k base, 35% bonus&nbsp;</li> <li>2019-2020: total comp $337k ($250k base and 35% bonus - 50% raise)</li> </ul> --- Support this podcast: <a href="https://anchor.fm/michelle-k-yu/support" rel="payment">https://anchor.fm/michelle-k-yu/support</a>
