26 July - Sts Anne and Joachim, , Parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Sts Anne and St Joachim were the parents of the blessed virgin Mary. Mary is our role model towards living a virtuous Christian life, hence Saints Anne and Joachim can be an example and role model for all parents. Their feast day is on 26th July.
