2023 WWC: Super Falcons ready to beat England – Skipper Ebi

<p>Super Falcons captain Onome Ebi has said the team is ready for battle ahead of their Round of 16 clash against England.</p>, <p>The West Africans will face another difficult test at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup after surviving a difficult group that has co-hosts Australia and Olympic champions Canada.</p>, <p>Randy Waldrum’s side are unbeaten so far in the competition, with one win and two draws.</p>, <p>European champions England are overwhelming favourites to win the game slated for Lang Park, Brisbane.</p>, <p>Ebi, however, said the Super Falcons are ready for the task ahead.</p>, <p>“I feel gingered, I feel strong, I feel ready. We prepared for this all year,” Ebi said in a video posted on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Twitter handle.</p>, <p>“It’s just like the World Cup just started for us. Whatever we won, that one has passed; this is the beginning of the real World Cup, and we are ready. The team is gingered; the team is positive.”</p>
