19 – The Supply Chain Crisis & Product Shortages: What? Why? Help?

<p>Back in action after a week of rest, Dana and Sarah dive right back in to the end of the world! Or is it? This week, Dana waffles between nervous laughter and educating us on the current supply chain crisis while teaching us what the heck is going on, why it's happening, and what we can do about it.</p><p>Join Dana and Sarah as they reflect on the early stages of the pandemic and recall the great hand sanitizer shortage of March 2020 - and, well, you know the rest. Dana attempts to summarize the global supply chain and the pandemic's impact on a broken system, which ultimately has real impacts on those in need and reliant on imported goods for their survival. We then walk through all the ways in which we as consumers can be smarter with our purchasing, more conscientious of our local community, and overall be better inhabitants of the planet we're slowly (quickly?) killing.
