As a teacher and a psychotherapist, she has used stories to widen the eyes of the students she has taught and to soften the pain in the hearts of the clients who have come to her. Little did she know that it would be the stories of WWII told to her over the phone that would give her one of the greatest gifts of all. It would give her the father she had always wanted to know .</p> <p>Her master’s degrees in education and psychology provided her with the ability to listen and respond. Her love of history and travel took her to many of the places her dad would have known in the war.
