Water Days: Swimming the English Channel

Mariel’s dedication, discipline and love for swimming are reflected in her achievements.Mariel did not only swim across the English Channel, considered the Everest of open water swimmers, but also swam the Catalina Channel (2012) and the Manhattan Island Marathon (2009). She is the first Mexican woman to accomplish "the Triple Crown" of open water swimming.
