Glue is a Manchester based modern blues rock band dubbed by RGM as “ones to watch” Their electric performances have earned them on bills with the likes of John Lydon, Noel Gallagher, The Cribs and Jake Bugg. Their music is entirely written, recorded and produced within the confines of the bands Manchester based flat, their sound is primarily Blues Rock but they aren’t living in the past. soulful vocals paired with hip hop inspired production make you want to pour yourself a glass of whiskey and put out a diss track to all your enemies at the the same time. Before moving to Manchester they met in leafy suburbs where they attest to the fact nothing ever happened and In their debut single “Left without you” their passion and drive to make something happen is reflected in the lyrics “If you stay here, it’s gunna suck you up, it’s gunna fuck you up, you gotta leave” and to catch one of Glue’s live gigs is to know their days in sleepless villages are moving further and further behind them.
