Will That Letter From Mayor Michel Kerr To The Previous Owners Of The Daintree Ferry Allow Transparency For The Good Folk Of The Douglas Shire - We Say It Should - The Ball Is Now In Their Court

<p>Douglas Shire Mayor Michael Kerr has sent an open letter to the former contractors of the Daintree River ferry, The Norris Family, requesting that the redacted matters in the Daintree River Ferry Probity Report be released and that they provide full disclosure of recent negotiations with Council. Mayor Kerr says the  negotiations have now concluded and he believes that it is in the public interest for these figures to now be revealed to the ratepayers of The Douglas Shire for proper and 'fair dinkum' transparency. FAB FM agrees and we also call on the Norris Family to give the green light for this to happen. Paul Makin spoke to Mayor Kerr about the matter and also asked about the condition of the ferry as our border is about to re open.
