Warmer & Dry Mon/Tue; Turning Much Colder 1” to 3” Snow Likely Wed/Thu; Returns to Warmer & Dry Wx Conditions Fri-Wed

<p>Today and tomorrow a ridge moves back over the Plains and Central US.   Westerly upper-level and southwest surface winds will lead to warmer temps, with daytime highs return to the 40’s and 50’s and lows climb into the teens and low 20’s.  Wednesday clouds will be on the increase ahead of another upper-level trough and shot of Arctic air Wednesday evening and overnight.  With easterly upsloping flow 1” to 3” of snow potential exits by Thursday morning, while Thursday remains bitterly cold with sunshine.  Good news again Arctic cold spell will be short-lived as high-pressure and ridging returns to end the week and move in over the weekend. </p>
