<p>Tim Burga, President of the Ohio AFL-CIO, joined the America’s Work Force Union Podcast and discussed two new pieces of legislation designed to make railways safer - Transportation Safety Bill and the Railway Safety Act. He also addressed the implications of a recently proposed Ohio tax cut and a proposal increase to the threshold to amend the state’s constitution. </p> <p> </p> <p>Communications Workers of America District 4 Administrative Director Frank Mathews joined the America’s Work Force Union Podcast and talked about the fight in Michigan to repeal So-Called “Right to Work” laws. He also discussed the reintroduction of the Richard L. Trumka PRO Act and the growing pro-union wave happening following the pandemic.</p>
