<p>Welcome to "<b><i>The Bible in Today's World</i></b>", the show that compares today's world with the Word of God.</p> <p>In general and specifically, are we following the Bible in our daily walks? Is society demanding that we follow the Word of God in all that we do?</p> <p>Does our Almighty Father look upon us and frequently say, "Well done, good and faithful servant!" - or is He thinking of us as He thought/thinks of Sodom and Gomorrah?</p> <p>On today;'s show, we will explore the "<b>Biblical Role of Men, Part 2</b>" -</p> <p>We also played Part 2 of my interview with Christian counselor/podcast host, <b>MIKE HATCH.</b></p> <p><b>MIKE HATCH</b>, a recovering pornography addict with 20 years of experience coaching, mentoring, and discipling men, will join us to discuss the dangers of pornography; his book, "<b><i>Manhood: Empowered by the Light of the Gospel</i></b>"; and his podcast, "<b><i>Throwing Mountains</i></b>".</p> <p><b>FROM HIS BIO</b>:</p> <p>I lived much of my life in the dark until I was eventually forced into the light. It was through this painful process of being exposed to the light, and then learning to walk in it, that I discovered God's grace, gained freedom from the dark, and was <i>empowered by the light </i>of the gospel.</p> <p>Most men today are in hiding. Isolation and loneliness has defined us as a generation, and we are disempowered by the lies of the darkness. As a result, we feel inadequate and incompetent at home and in our marriages. We lack a centered identity that would otherwise provide the confidence we need to lead our families well or maintain personal integrity.</p> <p>I currently serve as the National Relationship Generator for CLC, a men's discipleship ministry (clchq.org).
