State constitution's environmental rights inform municipal planning

Jan. 20, 2022 - In November, New Yorkers approved the addition of language to the state constitution that guarantees a right to clean air, clean water and a healthful environment. We turned to Ithaca Director of Sustainability Luis Aguirre-Torres to learn how his city is working to preserve those rights.
