A Clare-based Sinn Féin councillor hopes legislation will be implemented to prevent landlords from seeking sex for rent. It follow's the party's pulication of legislation legislation, seeking sex for rent or advising such arrangements an offence under the Residential Tenancies Act. The bill is expected to be tabled when the Dáil resumes in September and Sinn Féin's Housing spokesperson, Eoin Ó Broin has described the practice as "a disgusting predatory form of behaviour".
