<p>This week's guest, writer/drummer <strong>S.W. Lauden</strong>, first wrote about NY band <strong>Fountains Of Wayne</strong> in the book <em>'Go All The Way: A Literary Appreciation of Power Pop'</em>. During that time, he listened to their third - and breakout - album <strong>'Welcome Interstate Managers'</strong> for months on repeat, and eventually formulated a theory that it's actually a sly, sophisticated Gen-X concept album.
