<p>Shooting Stars chairmman, Babatunde Olaniyan, has appealed to the club supporters to avoid trouble in their matchday six encounter against Remo Stars.</p>, <p>The Oluyole Warriors will lock horns with Remo Stars at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne on Wednesday (today).</p>, <p>Olaniyan urged the travelling fans to eschew all forms of violence and embrace peace.</p>, <p>“We know that our people will travel in their large numbers to Ikenne, to cheer their darling team up against their southwest brothers, it is on this premise, that I want to appeal to them to shun any form of violence,” he told the club’s media.</p>, <p>“These lay credence to the fact that between Shooting Stars and Remo Stars, the days of violence are over. It is a matter of two brothers being involved in a contest. It is therefore a brotherly affair.”</p>, <p>DAILY POST recalled that both clubs supporters met to improve their relationships towards the start of the 2023-24 NPFL season.</p>, <p>Encounters involving both sides have experienced unruly acts in the past, with injuries and destruction of properties at stadiums.</p>
