Nice Columbus Day; Windy Tue & Wed w/Some Rain Chances; Colder Rest of Week w/Some AM Frost Potential; Warmer Dry Sat/Sun

<p>Today shortwave ridging will be in place for Columbus Day ahead of a trough and low-pressure system advancing over the Rockies.  This will lead to a sunny and nice afternoon with highs in the mid-70’s and light northwest breeze after a cold start in the upper 30’s.   Tomorrow the low-pressure system will deepen over northeast CO resulting in gusty south-southeasterly winds, blowing dust and some later afternoon, evening, and overnight showers storms as the system lifts northeast into western Ne. Wednesday low continues lifting northeast into Canada leaving gusty north winds and colder temperatures behind.    Another trough Thursday and Friday continue colder temps, could see some morning frost and light rain.  </p>
