<p>Today we will be breaking down the 2019 film Sound of Metal, directed by Darious Marder. Sound of Metal follows protagonist Ruben, played by Riz Ahmed, a heavy metal drummer who loses his hearing from years of noise damage. As a musician, Ruben losing his hearing means both a loss of his income and a loss of his identity.
