<p>An infectious disease specialist and a veterinary epidemiologist discuss zoonotic disease risks and the benefits of integrating a One Health approach to veterinary and human medical practice.</p> <p>The recent pandemic highlights the risks associated with animal - human disease transmission (zoonosis).
