Roger grew up in pubs in London and became very streetwise to the world of business very fast, having watched dealings of all descriptions going on! His Mum’s simple but powerful business lesson of ‘think about £1 a man’ led to him earning £20 in 45 mins by selling VIP tickets to the club next door to the family’s pub at the age of 10. 20 quid in 45 mins was good money in the 80’s, especially for a kid of 10!
