Episode #98: "I Have SOMETHING To Say" with special guests, Alex Weeden & Connor Darwish

<p><span data-ogsc="black">Young Americans are standing up for and actually acting on the high values we profess to hold dear in the United States. In this episode of I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY we talk to the inbound and outbound presidents of the </span><span data-ogsc="rgb(5, 5, 5)" data-ogsb= "white">Young Democrats of Orange County (FL),</span> <span data-ogsc="black">Alexander Weeden and Connor Darwish about how they became civically engaged and committed to causes that are above and beyond the realm of politics. But they are also very much in-tune with how things work at the legislative level and are steadfast in calling out their own party’s leadership on their shortcomings. It’s awesome to hear them speak of social justice, and what role they see themselves having in affecting real change. Let’s start with their board…only 3 of its 9 members are White males. They are also doing a pretty good job of connecting and engaging with people with opposing views, especially other young people who may have grown up in households where diversity, equity, and inclusion were not encouraged.</span></p>
