Ennis Based President Of Irish Road Hauliers Says Sector Costs Must Be Kept Under Review

The Ennis based President Of The Irish Road Hauliers Association is raising concerns over the potential impact of the Windsor Agreement. It comes as the Department Of Transport formally announced a funding package of €18 million this week to mitigate rising operating costs in the sector. However fears are growing in the industry that outward movements of goods to the UK will dramatically increase for Irish fleets. President Of The Irish Road Haulier's Association, Euguene Drennan says the government must be prepared for this eventuality.
