Cold & Windy Today; Frosty AM Nice Fri/Sat; Cold, Wind & A Little Bit of Rain/Snow Halloween & Mon; Colder 1st Week of Nov w/A Possible Frl/Sat Storm System

<p>TODAY will continue to be windy and colder behind an exiting low-pressure system to the east and a ridge moving in from the west this afternoon and evening.   North winds will blow 20-40 mph with daytime temperatures in the 55-60-degree range.  As winds diminish and skies clear under high-pressure tonight’s lows will drop below freezing.  Tomorrow and Saturday we will see a brief warm-up into the 60’s under zonal westerly upper-level flow ahead of a next disturbance on Halloween and Monday.  This system will have much colder air as it rotates on the backside of a large cut-off low over eastern Canada and chances for some light wintry precipitation Sunday “trick or treat” night and Monday mainly north of US Highway 36.    </p>
