May. <br />. <br />Once, a farmer yielded to God's calling to go on a mission trip to the Amazon, <br />fearlessly bringing the Christian gospel to some of the world's most isolated <br />and ferocious tribes living in the jungle. <br />. <br />This anecdote brings to mind my father's own story. <br />Decades ago, he returned to Hong Kong alone, just to fulfil God's calling for <br />him to start this church. <br />A host of enemies got in the way, attempting to sabotage his efforts, but my <br />father held on. <br />. <br />Until the day God calls him home, he'll keep submitting himself to His will, <br />living up to the prayer that Jesus modelled to his disciples: <br />His Kingdom come; His will be done. <br /> <br />—————————————————————————— <br /> <br />【All Consuming Fire 】創作意境 <br />我遭重重圍困—— <br />有狼， <br />有野蠻人， <br />也有曾稱兄道弟的人。 <br />孤身隻影，處身於噩夢的森林。 <br />. <br />雪花散落在頭上， <br />猶如猛烈野火後，灰燼飛揚。 <br />我的靈魂被點燃； <br />靈火令我屏息凝氣， <br />從內而外，消耗煉淨。 <br />但，我仍會堅持到底—— <br />. <br />不 · 惜 · 一 · 切 <br />. <br />I am surrounded. <br />By wolves. <br />By savages. <br />By those who once called me brother. <br />Yet alone, I am in this forest of nightmares. <br />. <br />Snow drifts down upon my head like ashes from a severe wildfire. <br />My soul is set ablaze; the ethereal fire suffocates me, consuming me from the <br />inside out. <br />But still, I will persevere. <br />Whatever.
