63. A Hole in the Roof (Matthew 9:1-8) / Un agujero en el techo (Mateo 9:1-8)

<p>Hello everybody, welcome to the Podcast Stories of the Bible in English and Spanish. Today I’ll talk about how a group of friends took one of them (the one who was paralyzed) thru a hole in a roof to present him to Jesus to ask the Son of God to heal him… a story that you can find in the Book of Matthew.</p> <p>If this is the first time you listen to this Podcast, welcome, my goal is to help you to learn a little bit of English and Stories of the Bible at the same time.</p> <p>On the other hand, please visit teacherisaac.com to listen to the previous episodes.</p> <p>So, let´s start with the episode. Many people gathered there because the heard he was <strong>healing</strong> the sick.</p> <p>The house was <strong>overflowing</strong> with people. Many had to stand outside. There was no room left, not even outside the door.</p> <p>Down the road lived a man who could not walk. He was <strong>paralyzed</strong>. Down the road lived a man who could not walk. He was paralyzed. His friends believed Jesus could heal him.</p> <p>They <strong>carried</strong> him to the house. It was still too crowded. So they <strong>carried</strong> him up to the roof.</p> <p>The man’s friends made a <strong>hole</strong> and lowered him down to Jesus. Jesus saw that the men had faith. He knew how much they loved their friend.</p> <p>Jesus said to the man, “Your sins are forgiven.” The man stood up and walked!
