It didn’t take much for the Israelites, &nbsp;once they made it to the Promised Land, to abandon the One True God. &nbsp;After God rescued them from slavery, led them for <em>40 years</em> in &nbsp;the wilderness, to a fruitful land, they became blinded by the pagan &nbsp;worship practices of their neighbors.
