2022 Montreal Police Budget Rises to New High of $724 million (Local 514 ep9)

On this episode: The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is receiving the second highest increase in their budget in the city's history, with an additional $45 million dollars this year. Just last month, the SPVM announced that they went over budget in 2021 by $51 million. The city of Montreal has agreed to pay this, but what will stop them from going over budget again in 2022?
