We are taking another look at the Laws of Moses from the standpoint of Galatians 3:15-31 and Acts 10:1-48. Scriptures tell us that the Law does not 🙅🏽‍♀️ save us nor does it justify us in the sight of God! The Bible tells us in Galatians 3:24, that the Law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith! So to answer the age-old question, "Are we commanded to follow the 613 Laws of Moses?" No! Why? This system of law was to last only UNTIL the coming of Christ Jesus, the Child to whom God's promise was made. The Bible tells us that if we could be saved by His laws, then God would not have had to give us a different way to get out of the grip of sin - for the Scriptures says we were all its prisoners. The only way out of (sin) is through faith in Jesus Christ; the way of escape is open to ALL who believe Him! The Bible tells us that God does not play favorites, that both the Jews and the Greeks are now one in Christ Jesus - the Body of Christ - who have now received the Holy Spirit!
