A long-time goal has been to visit Madison, Indiana. While doing research about the Underground Railroad, I learned this river town played a prominent role. There is nothing like a personal visit to more fully understand the history that transpired there. That goal was achieved in September of 2024. Madison is a delightful town, and here is the first of several stories I hope to write.
