Windy Cloudy Colder 48 hrs; Warmer & Dry Sun-Tue; Colder More Seasonal Wx Wed-Sun; Maybe Some Light Snow Wed/Thu

<p>Today the upper-level trough and cold front blows through with gusty north-northwest winds and temps drop into the 40’s for highs and teens.  Winds could gust to 50 mph, thus blowing dust and fire danger condition may become a concern.  As the low tracks ESE from Colorado to the Arkansas Louisiana Mississippi Valley Saturday, we will see much colder temps and breezy northwest winds, while sunshine returns.  Morning lows start in the lower teens, afternoon highs only reach into the mid-30’s and NW wind 15-30 mph.  Sunday, Martin Luther King Day and Tuesday upper-level ridging builds out west again and northwest flow over the local area will rebound temps back into the 50’s and lows 20’s, while severe drought will continue to affect rangeland and Winter wheat condition and elevate fire concerns during breezy times of the day.</p>
