Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Douglas Murray (Author & Journalist) about Dave’s coming out story in the first chapter of “Don’t Burn This Book”. Dave compares his coming out as gay to coming out of the “political closet” when he started being very critical of the identity politics of liberals and progressives. While friends and family were supportive of his being gay, he received a more hostile reaction to his political views. Dave also discusses the damage that living a double life can do to your mental health and how it makes you more apt to lie in other parts of your life.
