The Word–Fr Tony Percy–Forgiveness Unlimited (Let's go to the forgiveness, forgiveness unlimited. St Peter, thinking he's doing a good job of this says, well, how often should I forgive, seven times, which is the perfect biblical figure. And Jesus says, no, not seven times, but 70 times seven. We've got to forgive always and everywhere. Not so easy, of course, when we're close to people, we can hurt people more and they can hurt us more. So, we need to have in our heart a very depth, a great depth that enables us to forgive the way Christ forgives, as Christ forgives on the cross. Jesus goes on to tell this incredible parable. Jesus is saying, look, you've got to understand that God has forgiven you an enormous amount. And when you have that experience, then that experience will lead you to go out and to forgive others.)
