She worked with kids in both home health and school settings for a period, but pediatrics was not her calling. Her heart lies in adult neurological disorders. She has worked at Orlando Regional Medical Center for nearly 9 years in all settings: acute care, in-patient rehabilitation, and outpatient care working with patients and their families through challenging diagnoses such as traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, brain tumors, Parkinson’s Disease, spinal cord injuries (SCI), and other diseases, both common and rare.

In 2017 Angela was recruited by Dr. Janet Whiteside to the UCF Communication Disorders Clinic as an adjunct clinical instructor after a chance encounter at a conference in Tampa.
