The Celtic Birth Tree Meditation

<p>“Trees are the earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven.”</p> <p>~Rabindranath Tagore</p> <p>Historically, Celtic tribes based their lives around the changing seasons, and the natural world. They not only observed the land, and the elemental world, but their wisdom, teachings, and knowledge centered around the changes from the stars above to the colors below. </p> <p>They created a calendar including a circle of 13 tree, shrub, and vine specimens. Their belief was that each tree held sacred knowledge. Combining the tree and the date of birth reveals sacred wisdom. They connect us through meaning to the season of our birth.</p>
